Research Areas

Corpus Linguistics at Coventry (CLaC) is a growing group of researchers specialising in applications of corpus linguistics across the disciplines. We are interested in how digital technologies (such as corpus and computational methods of analysis, and visualisation tools) can be used to investigate and understand language use in different contexts. Our research interests and expertise are varied, but fall into five main strands: translation; digital archiving; corpus stylistics; academic language and teaching and learning.
